Hi there. Hope all is well. As kids we wrote a song called the Flying Saucers has landed. Now, to honor the good ol' days a new tune - inspired by the original idea - has been created. Welcome over for a listen to FLYING SAUCERS (landed again)
Welcome to Billy's Bunker (Music Reviews)! It's been busy in the Bunker.
The latest review is of Wussy's self-titled CD released this month. That album is folk honest and rock hard. Chuck Weaver's guitar sound should be patented as "Wingéd Agony." This album by Wussy is a sexy, spiritual, human experience with folk honesty and cluster bombs of rock 'n' roll.
Wussy (Eponymous) ~ This Wussy Will Hit You Like A Truck IsWhat?! "NuTakes" ~ Avant Jazz Hip Hop Genius Terry Riley "The Cusp of Magic" ~ Kronos Quartet & Wu Man.. Cedar Hill Refugees "Pale Imperfect Diamond" ~ Uzbek musicians, Appalachian singers and songs Clare Means "White Bamboo" ~ extraordinary singer and songs The Sundresses "Barkinghaus" ~ as though rock developed from 1920's jazz & blues OGOGO "Redux" ~ truly avant guard guitar excursions and more Jadoo "Prairie Fire" ~ improvised music from Uzbekistan and the U.S.
Thank you for being my friend!
