About Wayne Jenkins....
Jenkins grew up in chicago while heavily influenced by the blues of Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters & host of others. He played guitar with some name blues acts from around the Chicago area in the 60s. From the 60s through the mid 80s he toured with his band national (USA) and Canada. Then he came back to Illinois and settled down in Danville IL with his new family while still strongly playing the music circuit. Then moved to Nashville TN.
While living in Nashville, he wrote music & performed on regular basis and was written up in several Nashville Music Trade publications, plus, he was performing on the road outside of Nashville.
Jenkins now lives in Indianapolis Indiana. He is still writing and performing live. He is also working on a new album soon to be released this year.
Plus, he is getting ready for a UK & Europe Tour. One of the venues that Wayne Jenkins will be performing at in the UK will be the famous "The Cavern" in Liverpool England. The European tour will be starting in the UK then Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain & Portugal.
