| General | Music (all kinds) but especially show music. I used to collect comic books, but it got SOOOO expensive. [I still love them!] Reading fantasy and biographies. | | Music | Show music, some pop and some country. [Lyrics are important to me in all songs.] I've just rediscovered Dvorak in the classical field. | | Movies | Lord Of The Rings, Brokeback Mountain, The Court Jester, Bond films, Fantasy Films, films based on comic book stories [yes, even "Daredevil"] independent films and Harry Potter. | | Television | "Smallville" and "Heroes" [no surprise] old movies, especially the silent ones, "Numbers", "Mysteries" from the United Kingdom. My three favorite programs of all time are "M*A*S*H", "Mission Impossible" and "The Dick Van Dyke Show." Current fave is "Hustle." | | Books | I love "Show Biz" biographies and fantasy novels most, | | Heroes | Irving Berlin, Kander and Ebb, Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hammerstien and Hart, George and Ira Gershwin (especially Ira!) Frank Loesser, Jule Stein, Bob Merrill, Jerry Herman, Stephen Swartz, Jason Robert Brown, Alan Menken. |
