Music
I'm into a lot of eclectic stuff, from Aimee Mann to Warren Zevon. I enjoy classical, love Tango, techno, Yello, Berlin, Colourbox, Justified Ancients of MuMu, and other assorted delights.
Movies
Ever changing. I love Sci-Fi, especially dark and deep ones like Sunshine, Solaris, and Sphere. Apparently, any movie that starts with an "s". I enjoy campy B-movies, from classics like Evil Dead and Army of Darkness, to anything by Charles Bronson. The Indiana Jones trilogy is probably my all-time favorite, consistently. Can't go wrong with a fun action-loving hero that has a good heart. "It belongs in a museum!"
Television
Psych, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Doctor Who, First 48... What more do you need in life than comedy, sci-fi adventure, and crime stories?!
Books
Charles Baudelaire, HP Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, S. E. Hinton, Theodore Taylor, Harper Lee.
But I also like some more contemporary writers, of course, like Stephen King and Chuck Palahniuk. I'm also a fan of romance and I believe some of the best stuff is being published today by small authors through electronic distributors. The big houses should start paying attention.
Heroes
"If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion." - the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso.
"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." - Martin Luther King, Jr.
"An eye for an eye leaves everybody blind." - Mahatma Ghandi
"We are living in a world today where lemonade is made from artificial flavors and furniture polish is made from real lemons..." - Alfred E. Newman
