| About Way To Go |
|
Started off as 3 friends just messing around and jamming after a break up of numerous prior bands that involved the trio. Played punk covers at a restaurant under the name The Semi-Mongruls. After countless jam sessions in eachother's basements and learning covers they decided to try out some original songs, which they all were familiar with doing. The band wrote a song together called "Only Innocence". The song features punk-like lyrics with more of a pop-punk/screamo voice, up-beat ska riffs, and backed with clever and original drumming. Way To Go kept writing songs that spanned out across all their influences and likes in music such as "Re-Destruct" which is more of a hardcore song than anything and "The O is for Awesome" which was just a hit to the face of music and the pop-punk sensation that is "I Crapped My Paants." Still playing shows they eventually met up with a cool kid that just so happened to play the bass and had a basement too. As a quartet, Way To Go has written more songs that better fit the direction they want to head in. Try and make it to our next show and witness naked teenagers play music that you may just take a fancy to.
