We are an Independent Coffeehouse. A small business, locally owned, featuring local and organic products, and committed to being part of the community.
We are Greenwood's only late night coffeehouse ~ and a rarity of cozy comfort and quirkiness that is strangely hard to come by in espresso-laden Seattle ... we are a nostalgic reinvention of what used to be a "coffeehouse" harkening back to the days of ecclectic patrons mixing music and study and art and literature and politics ... in the heart of the Greenwood neighborhood, Wayward serves 100% organic, Fair Trade, shade grown espresso, along with Free Wireless Internet, Essential Baking pastries, Mighty-O Donuts, sandwiches, soy and rice milk, chai, organic juice, yerba matte, and even italian sodas. We have books, games, live music, an open mic, events, documentary screenings, and a community posting board. Sci-fi. Punk. Folk. Travel. Liberal.
Come check out the live music on the weekends, settle into one of our comfy chairs and read a book, bring your laptop and surf the 'net, meet new and old friends ...
