"It don't mean a thang, if it ain't got that twang" Waz Porter has recently released his 6th album titled "Beauty In A Fire".
After winning 2nd place in the 2005 East Coast Blues Festival Busking
competition, while improvising on slide lap steel guitar Waz was inspired to
record an instrumental album. "Sliding From Grace" was the result and
received widespread acclaim and admiration from fans. This remains Waz
Porters best selling album.
Currently Waz Porter plays solo and with his 3-4 piece band doing local pub
and cafe gigs. Waz is focusing on his flat-picking guitar style that has
given his songs an interesting country style while maintaining the focus on
poetic story like lyrics.
