In 1999 the seeds were planted for the band Wazted Vision in a small bar in Spring Lake, NC. Andy Atkins and Dave Wagner often got together and discussed the course of music in modern society and the ramifications thereof. They had a common love for different genres of music and decided it would spark a new kind of originality to meld their different loves and form a band. Together with a few equally talented friends of theirs they created the band Wasted Time. Wasted Time had a rough time maintaining band members and eventually dissolved. ~~
Later, Dave and Andy reformed the band, adding Mark Timco on guitar and first Mike Desena, then later Dave (Eddie) Edwards on drums. The additional tastes of music from Mark, Mike and Eddie sparked a wave of creativity and the band cranked out original rock n’ roll songs each growing with intensity with every composition.~~
Mark left the band in November of 2006 to prepare for his move to Sin City.~~
In July of 2007 Wazted Vision took a hiatus and came across the talents of ax-wielder Steve Cumbee. Presently they are working on new material and preparing to re-emerge on the Fayetteville scene.
