We Can Build You is the acoustic-electronic improv trio of Jonathan Goldberger, Jason Rigby, and Rich Johnson. The three met after moving to NYC in the late 90’s and have worked together in various projects since. electric guitar, samples, tenor saxophone, laptoptrumpet, and an array of woodwinds make up the groups unconventional instrumentation. Musically, We Can Build You is a mix of field recordings, ambient electronics, film music, noise rock, free jazz, and more. Each member brings to the table experiences ranging from composing for film, performing with the Village Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, playing in brass bands, to customizing audio software.
