Theatre, Music and Voice:
Seasonal workshops and weekly classes are offered in Acting, Performance Voice & Audition Prep - You name it, Drama Direct's got it! These workshops/classes are available to students who are interested in group, private or private duo/trio instruction.
Dance and Exercise:
Modern forms of Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, & Musical Theatre dance classes are available all season long to students who are interested in group, private or private duo/trio instruction. Most students have a tendency to want intstructed in more than just one form of dance. So, Musical Theatre group dance classes at Drama Direct provide variety - allowing students to enjoy several styles of dance in just one class. Are formal classes not really your "thing"? No problem! Drama Direct has instructed many students interested in improving their dance skills for special occassions - and those seeking a choreographed dance routine for upcoming competitions, events or auditions. The limits are endless!

IN A NUTSHELL
The WEIRTON COMMUNITY PLAYERS (WCP) have been known as a theatrical organization since 1987. WCP has entertained thousands of local theatre patrons with popular musicals and straight plays. One day, the question of how WCP's creative team could share their talents outside of the usual production process came to mind. Drama Direct Studio was the answer. Drama Direct Studio opened its doors to the public in 2005, and has provided classes in: Theatre, Dance, Voice, and beyond to people of all ages. Drama Direct Studio has (since then) gained the reputation of "the Weirton area's best-kept secret".
