Jim Wagner WCR Guitar Pickups Listening to Jimmy Allen and Against All Will. Great way to end my day ;-) http://lnk.ms/02SljPosted at 8:21 AM Nov 28 view more
I build custom, radical guitar pickups, and have built for some of the finest guitarists on the planet. Many have since become good friends of mine, and they create a lotta fun for Carol, the Kids and myself. The musical influence on the kids from them all is a magical thing to witness indeed.
My honey Carol runs the show, while I build pickups, play guitars, talk to other guitarists and trade e-mails with them for hours and hours everyday.
We get to take amazing trips several times a year to guitar shows, jams, etc.
My latest interest is aquiring my sail-plane (glider) license. I am learning to fly at Soar Minden in Nevada, which is just on the other side of the Sierras from us. I also plan to join the glider club in Byron California.
We live at the 3500' level in Soulsbyville California. Best place in the U.S. to live.
There is a picture of us in the rotating photos below.
Kick back and have a listen to some customer clips and enjoy the pix below.
We are in Paradise, and have the ultimate dream jobs....nuthin' but music, 24/7

I would just like to add something new that happened to me. On JUne 12th, I was given the opportunity and the HUGE honor of getting to jam with the Marshall Tucker Band in Modesto California, did again in Piercy California a couple of months later, and plan on doing it again on New Year's Eve in San Juan Capistrano California, along with my good friend Billy Yates of the OutLaws. Should be a SUPER NITE !!!
They are in a class of their own, and the finest band to ever come out of the South.I thank them and love them all from the bottom of my heart. Not a finer group of people on the Planet !!!
And yet another great honor bestowed upon me this year was getting involved with, and becoming good friends with the legendary Jon Schaffer of the incredible metal band Iced Earth. He is a fantasticlly talented person to work with, and has an ear for detali un-like any I have ever encountered. With him, we developed the new IceBucker Set. KILLER pickups, and you can find out more about them on his website ( clik Jon's banner below), or my own (clik the Dragon).
