About W.C. SOULSHINE:
This is a project that, for years, we've been talking about, and now, as timing seems to be the essence of everything, the right ingredients have come together! Myself, together with Mike O'Grady, Bob Furda, and Danny Coleman, have joined a brotherhood and set out to make some real rock music. We had our "audition" back on Labor Day 2006 weekend at The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, playing with our friends ... AGENCY. The idea really was to prepare some tunes in a months time and play a gig because we were all feeling a bit restless and needed to get out there on the scene again - but this time - it would be about our own music. The gig went over better than we expected and it turned out everybody was feeling the excitement, joy and happiness in our music, which was the reason we started playing music to begin with. Mikey O., Bob and I have played together before in different bands, and for years played cover music and entertained the people. This was great fun, but at the same time it wasn't what we truly wanted to be doing musically. W.C. SOULSHINE is an outlet for us to play the music we have always yearned to play! I think people are going to hear rock at its best! We have 2 incredible guitarists in this band, one of which is raw and powerful, the other, which is polished and powerful, and blended together it is truly a magical sound. The music all stems from the soul and in the tradition of what it means to rock & roll - we are gonna go out there and hit 'em hard! I think people are going to hear our influences, and that would include everything from the Beatles, to Bob Dylan to Warren Haynes to early rock & roll to classic to blues to southern rock, but all of which will sound completely new, fresh & modern. We are backed by our awesome drummer/percussionist, Danny Coleman. So it is with much excitement that I am extremely happy to be playing with these guys and making some damn good rock & roll. Sorry to get back to you guys so late but just wanted to say as always it was a pleasure to share the stage with such great musicians once again! You guys were the best band last Sat. night! You really put on a SHOW and brought alot of fun to the Champs crowd through your performance. It was great and everyone was lovin' it! Now all you need to do is go out and get some suits!!! Keep the train rollin'!!! YEAH!!! SOULSHINE ROCKS!!!
