About me: A SHORT BIOGRAPHY: WCWM has been a part of the College of William and Mary for 5+ decades. Once a part of the school's (now nonexistent) communications curriculum, the station was moved from the second floor of Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall (where one of the station's signal boosters is still located) to its current location in the basement of the campus center building (which, prior to this move, was a bowling alley). In 2004, WCWM not only crawled up the dial from 90.7 to 90.9fm but also increased its wattage by a factor of ten. We now broadcast at 13,000 watts through Charles City County, reaching both Richmond and Newport News.
