Unite Against Bullying
Wife, mom, troublemaker, pacifier. Woman with a brain. I have been blessed with being surrounded by a wonderful family and wonderful, patient, hugely loyal friends. I am a Certified Pharmacy Technician and a Medical Transcriptionist for my husband. I am an advocate against the over-prescribing and misleading advertising and prescribing of psychotropic medications. Beware - there will be more about that later. I am a survivor and a fighter who will not be stopped much to the dismay of many groups and individuals.
I enjoy almost all types of people, the exceptions being racists and bigots. Variety is educational. Intolerance and narcissism diminish/limit intelligence. I am highly cultured, yet proud to be a redneck. Life is too short to give a rat's behind about what others think of me. My life motto since high school - "I'm no better than anyone else, but I'll be damned if anyone is better than me." My statement of inspiration comes from a 10-year-old from my town who was in the Scripps National Spelling Bee this year (2006) - "Turn anger and disappointment into motivation."
I have 3 children: a fourteen-year-old son whose brain works so fast that the rest of the world can't keep up; an thirteen-year-old daughter who will probably be President someday, winning with a motto something like, "Vote for me or else!"; and a ten-year-old daughter who is all girl, sweet to the core, dances, skips, leaps, anything but walks to wherever her life will take her. I also have a 4th child who is actually 10 days older than me, but I've been married to him since November of 1991. I guess I'll keep him around.
Who I'd like to meet: For intellectual reasons - Jesus, Dr. Joseph Glenmullen, Dr. Peter Breggin, Justin Furstenfeld, Sir Elton John, Billy Joel, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Barbara Jordan, Dr. Maya Angelou, James Earl Jones, Bill Cosby, Prince (formerly and currently known as) and I'll add to this list later.
