The Weakest Baboons are three fine guys from the north suburbs of Milan. They get together in September 2006 as soon as Luca & Yuri find out in Tommy the right guy and the right drummer for their purpose: to start a new rock-band.
They don’t want to be the 1000th Italian cover-band so they start creating their own songs with a music that comes out from the meltdown of personal influences: from Queens of The Stone Age, Masters of Reality to Nirvana or the italian Verdena, passing through the psychedelic souls of Jimi & Jim.
They spend the first seven months in their ‘music-room’ in Tommy’s house finding the right atmosphere and then decide to produce a five-track demo with their poor savings to start performing in local pubs and private parties.
In June they’re choosen for the annual competition ‘Desio in musica’, they placed 2th and play on the same stage of the Italian Mellowtoy. Then they’re invited at the first Beerfest in Desio with Greedy Mistress and Leaving Vegas.
In July they pass the selection to participate to ‘Ribalta Sonica’ (organized by Lilium Produzioni) and perform in Cesano Maderno on 16th with other six bands, before the Statuto’s performance (the first Italian ska band). Their performance has been recorded so that in October will be realesed a compilation (1000 copies) in which there will be two Weakest Baboons’ tracks: the beloved H.A.T.E.(Has Aid The Enemy) and the brand-new Billy-Paint.
They are autodidact musicians who try to create a simple music, full of the feelings that push them to play every day and love for what they’re trying to do instead of long (and empty) solos borrowed from any conservatory didactics. They simply prefer an exhausting feedback, a crying guitar beside the ampli.
That’s what they want to do, a musical freedom received from the old punk-rock school so that each member of the band can suggest musical lines for his instrument and for the one of the others.
Well, we don’t mind about suckcess…we just want to play in any possible place or at least receive any kind of consideration (comments, advices, threats or insults)…any word spent about us is well-accepted. Thanks.

io credo che voi siate troppo fighissimi cazzo ! vi ho riascoltati adesso minkia che bomaba cazzo ! uhmm siete riusciti a fare un mix perfetto tra tre cose assolutamente diverse .. stoner , grunge e expirience .. intendo che si sentono cose alla jimi cazzo geniali !
