"I'm a regular, average person with a dream to create a better quality of life. To create a life with true freedom, with time and the money for the things that really matter to me."
My story and my philosophy:
We are probably very much the same, you and I. The difference is that I have found the way to make my dream come true.
Truth be told, if you have the same dream as I do plus desire, drive and determination, we can turn that dream into reality.
I was not born into a life of priveledge. My father passed away when I was only 7 and with only enough insurance money to pay for a funeral my mother worked hard to make ends meet. When I was about to finish high school, I discovered that there was no secret savings account with tuition money so I could go to university. So I went to work.
It was in the retail sales industry that I found a career. I started part time in an 'on demand' t-shirt printing kiosk. In a matter of months, I became assistant manager and then manager. Over the course of the next 25 or so years, I would hold many various positions including a stint of 13 years in computer operations and inventory control.
It was during this time that computers became part of my life. Over the years, I learned that you can't get rich by working for someone else and somehow I knew that it would be computers that would play a part in my ultimate dream of having my own business.
In 2004, after realizing that a traditional 'brick and mortar' franchise type business was financially unattainable, I started searching the internet for a good business opportunity. It was clear that online business was much more affordable and I heard about people who were making ridiculous amounts of money.
I started my first online business in early 2005. I poured my heart, soul and money into it. I did everything I was told to do, exactly how I was told to do it. But with inadequate guidance, training and advice and due to my own naievte and misplaced trust, I admitted defeat a year later and quit.
I was defeated, yes. But ready to give up? Give up!? Are you Kidding!?
I spent the next several months continuing my education at the school of hard knocks. I joined opportunity after opportunity (somewhere around 12 in all) and I learned lessons from each one. Here is what I have learned. First, you need quality training and instruction in order to succeed. You need to be given relevant, specific instructions through live training/video training/audio training and written word. Second, you need to be shown how to get people to look at your website (a.k.a. drive traffic). Third, you need to be shown how to convert that traffic into sales. Many websites do not convert what little traffic they get to sales. Fourth, you need to get paid more than you spend on your marketing. For example, if you make $2,000 this month but you spend $3,000 on marketing, well you won't be in business for long.
I have kept all of these lessons in mind as I have found and settled on 1 outstanding business opportunity called EDC Gold.
