The energy emitting from …and explode! is infectious. From the stage to the studio, their catchy pop/punk melodies and star quality are undeniable. With the band ready to drop the bomb with their much anticipated debut release; “The Foresight EP”, …and explode! is on fire.
…and explode! is Kevann, Geoff, Bobby, Derek and Justin. Fronted by powerful female vocals, the band’s darker mix of pop/punk is often compared to Paramore, Tsunami Bomb, and Anberlin. Drawing inspiration from all genres, …and explode! writes songs with a message. “Life inspires our lyrics…because we relate to the hardships that people our age face. From jealous and petty peers, to relationship issues, to just coping with what comes your way.” This Calgary based group has quickly broken into the local scene - injecting their rockin’ positive vibes with every show they play. “We have tons of energy, and we’re always all over the stage! We get the crowd involved in every show we play.” says the band. Their hard work paid off in the summer of 2009 when they won the city finals for Supernova’s Battle of the Bands. They’ve also played gigs with fellow rockers Jay and the Lovebirds, Mapping the Escape, These Kids Wear Crowns, and A Trophy life.
With a Western Canadian summer tour in the works, “The Foresight EP” set for release in early 2010, and the drive for national exposure…and explode! is ready to blow up.

that makes sense, don't wanna blow allll your money on the first tour. but i'll definitely keep you posted on when i might be in the calgary/edmonton area and hopefully i can see you live. or even just hang outs are acceptable. a private show too. ha.
Aw really! Definitely got my hopes up! You should definitely come out this way sometime. Winnipeg has a decent music scene, its kinda gone down hill tho since i started going to shows. Back in the day everyone knew everyone at the shows and we were like a family... not so much anymore.
I'm hoping to go out west to Calgary and Edmonton around March or April... Maybe i'll be able to catch you play out there!
I just now got to listen to your newest song because I've been very forgetful and haven't checked myspace haha
But I really like it :D As soon as you add more songs, let me know haha I Like You Better With Your Mouth Shut is still my favouritest song by you guys (:
Hey guys! Sorry for the late reply :/ we've been super busy. We're glad you like our music! You have some pretty sweet tunes too! Our album is on amazon.com Feel free to support. Our album will make your ears happy! It should also be on itunes very shortly. We hope you had a great weekend! We'll have to share the stage if we're ever in Canada. Talk to you soon!
Thanks dude, good to know you like the music. I posted another album at ummband.com today, so if you want more music, you know where to find it. It's less diverse sonically than the Therman album, but nice and crunchy throughout.
