About bradford

West Coast melodic rock band fronted by Dean-Anthony, a singer/songwriter with a soaring six-octave range that the band uses for good (rock) and not evil; the band builds a feverish arena rock sound around infectious melodies. The band was started in New York, while Dean-Anthony had the distinction of being the world's ONLY resident of the Empire State Building--he lived in his office, on the 28th floor, which doubled late night as rehearsal space.

Dean-Anthony, the Latin wonder, is a California boy, raised on the rough streets of Westwood (very close to the impoverished Bel Air); Lead Guitartist Tobin hails from Reno and has been an icon on the New York (and Seattle) music scene for years; Drummer Jeremy, and frequent Val Kilmer stand-in, is from Pasadena, California, Home of the Rose Bowl and old money. Each brings to the bunch a myriad of contradicting musical influences that somehow fuse beautifully to create a sonically orgasmic sound. Tobin has worked hard to beat the pop out of Dean-Anthony with his harder rock edge, while Jeremy has feverishly soothed Tobin's edge with a smooth jazz vibe. The band took the summer of 2008 off, to allow Dean-Anthony to sell his soul to American Idol, but regrouped in September, after he bought it back, to build a new, more intricately ambitious sound that would redefine the dynamic of the band and it's ultimate plans for 2009 and beyond. They want to keep the balls of rock, with the shake-your-assiness of dance and the awesomeness of just plain good music to round it off.

These guys write music about faith, fulfillment and redemption; the faith (in life, in love, in self) we often lose; the fulfillment we blindly hunt; the redemption we stumble upon but never expect to find; and the life we string together in between...

Expect the band's new EP, featuring the lead singles from their sophomore album, in late December/early January; the new album drops in April of 2009. The band will be traveling the country, shamelessly promoting the new album at the top of the year, be sure to keep checking back throughout the fall for more news.
