Cannon Hill formed in 2006 with a vision to revive international
stadium rock in the 21st century. They decided to move far from the east coast to western Europe, only to spend the next year away from all civilization in a small Italianesque medieval farm town. The members of Cannon Hill are dedicated. Front man Nicolas Balachandran brings much production experience in underground hip hop and mainstream pop production. Hailing from Germany Nicolas and the band have created many new sounds for Rock Culture. Cannon Hill is a four piece band with their own Studio that they completed construction on in early January of 2008. With Creativity and Passion the band has produced 10 new songs with an uncommon sound appearance of Sigur Ros, U2's guitar work, and Frank Sinatra's smooth vocals, there is almost no obvious similarity to cross their path. With a grand array of sound all four members have had much experience and fun over the years in the Indie/Art scene. One could say that Cannon Hill's live show thrives with blasting drum work energy and in your face melodies that work as magic. With over 20 unreleased but finished studio recordings, an extensive selection of world class studio and live gear the band is ready to launch faster than a Rolling Stone. Cannon Hill's fan's range consistently from pre-teen metal heads to punk Hipster Club Rock. New singles such as "See the Blue Sky" and "Vicitms and Prisons" have uncommon urban ethnic time signatures and that classic beatles string arrangement that has a place in everyone's ear.

i had another dream last night about you guys: i was at a big stage show of your's and you guys had a packed house. a crazy thing too was some solo soul singer was duetting with you-making for a wild performance! she was bellowing out notes with Nic and you guys were destroying the place! i remember it like a camera focusing on each one of you at different times from different angles. you were all individually tearing it up-i mean REALLY getting into it! it was amazing-the lights, the sound, the fans going nuts, your performance, everything! good things are coming!!!
had a dream last night that i ran into you guys at a huge festival somewhere in Europe (...i think it was Europe?). you had a really deep tent that was like your backstage/merch area. it felt like we hadn't seen each other in long time, but it didn't feel like it was super far off in the future either. you guys were preparing yourselves to play later that evening. it was funny because you all were there setting up your tent as we caught up. Even Shane was in the back of the tent attending to something. this festival felt massive-like it was a big deal! anyways, it was good to kind of see you guys last night ha ha much love-machts gut, jungs!
