Originally formed in mid 2005, and after back operations & backpacking across the USA, they finally reformed in April 2006. Since recording their debut EP "Dirty Sam Investigates...." the quartet that is Dirty Sam have continued to play many gigs around London and the South East, along with recording the follow up EP "Heard A Rumour" and in December 2007 released their single "Valentine" on independent label IG Records.
Taking influences from bands as diverse as The Smiths and Interpol, Dirty Sam present us with catchy melodies and bitter-sweet lyrics touching on the more mundane aspects of our
lives, jobs and romances.
With more ideas bound and gagged in the back of their car, lets hope this is only the start.

well up and till quite recently we put on art and music expo's and you could have played at one of those but i dont think we are gonna do any more so....ill have a word with the guys who own the venue....its like a big old hotel and they have this ballroom upstairs it pretty cool when you get it lit up properly, and see if we can get a little night going, if you have any bands that you hang about with who might wana play then let me know thier myspace page and ill get some people from down here...prob be about august sometime are you free any time?
hey, thanks i saw you guys in deptford last night and spoke to your bass player about coming down to southend and playing, we usually have about a hundred peiple or so at the gigs and can sort you guys a hotel plus you can spend some time down by the sea....avoiding all the chavs haha!
