FACE FOR RADIO formed in Liverpool, UK in 2006 and the band began cementing their reputation on the Merseyside live circuit with bone-shaking rock shows of the highest order, winning positive reviews in the press:

“The Next Big Thing” – The Barfly

In 2007 they made it to the grand final of the Juice FM ‘Next Big Thing’ competition and were unlucky not to win the main prize. The band also contributed a track to an exclusive Amnesty International compilation and headlined an all day event in aid of Amnesty, as well as appearing at several local festivals.
Original singer (and top geezer) Gazz Jones departed the band in summer 2007 but it wasn’t long before the young rock sensation that is Ian Ratcliffe was drafted in, completing the circle of hard rock energy once more.
Since their live return in January 2008 the band have played a series of very well received shows around the North-West, recorded a fantastic new four track demo and played at local festivals, supporting the Christians at Liverpool Cricket Ground in July.
What does the future hold for FFR? Well, they are LOOKING FOR MANAGEMENT right now and also a RECORD DEAL as they really want to take their music (that they love) to the largest audience possible. And most importantly they want to rock out and have a good time for all eternity. Is that really too much to ask???
