Previously known as Mispent Youth UK and having being labelled too Punk for Metal gigs and too Metal for Punk gigs, we decided to take a bit of time off and re-evaluate which direction we wanted to take the band. After weighing up the options and making a couple of line up changes: Danny decided to pick up the Axe once again and revisit his roots. Steve had decided to give up on the vocal route and concentrate more on playing the Bass.
Faceshredder was born.
After an interim 5 piece and a couple of blistering gigs it seemed as though Faceshredder would be no more as things started to fall apart. Up steps our new drummer, Kev Bambra previously of Holy Racket, and occasional drummer for 999. Only one more member to go, and that's where the story currently ends, we are furiously writing new material but need a new frontman to get us up and gigging once again. So if you know of anyone, then please tell them about us and get in touch.

Im putting together a promo of (mostly) UK thrash bands - and was wondering if you wanted to submit a track? Other bands such as Acral Necrosis (black metalthrash) HOD(old skool thrash) and Visceral Attack (crossover) have signed up to it so far. And once the CD is made there will be a chance to aquire some and sell yourselves to gain some revenue! All i need is a bangin thrash tune sent to fighttownthrash@hotmail.com
Im aiming for 20 tracks at least and so far 8 have been taken!
There will more than likely be a/ several all dayers/ gigs to promote the bands n the CDs nearer the time but i'll let you know!
