First of all, folks, I have realized that many of you out there never got the message and I never got around to make a proper statement out here: Gehennah has broken up and is no longer an active band. The four of us are still in all meanings of the word still part of the metalscene but due to circumstances beyond our reach we had to pull the plug on Gehennah. Feels like someone close has died but what can you do when it's just a bitter fact? Please do keep your eyes open for other projects from the members though - we just might surprise you with something other than Gehennah ;)
Well, back to the same old info:
The story begins at December 13 1991 at one of these boring local gigs in Karlstad. Four metal heads playing in different bands understood that they just had to start a band that played Venom covers. It didn't take 'em many rehearsals to understand that they weren't good musicians enough to play those songs, so they started to write their own songs instead. The Gehennah lineup was at this time: Mr Violence-vocals, Ronnie Ripper-bass, Rob Stringburner-guitar, Captain Cannibal-drums.
At summer 94 Captain Cannibal leaves the band and is replaced by the notorious bomber Hellcop.
We invite to listen ( with voice Misanthro and Stonewingangel ) of the four topics which presentable our demo. and we'll hang at intervals of two weeks. We're renovation the space with new pics,presentation of the new components,photos,videos,etc. That we wait your honest opinion.
