We Are Invisible is a three-piece rock band from San Francisco with multiple music personalities. Call it classic Heart meets tough girl Concrete Blond meets the hammer-fisted drums of Clutch.
Formed in 2004 after drummer Dom moved to San Francisco by way of Germany, sisters Jennifer and Rebecca immediately began writing the beginnings of their first album (We Are Invisible) and recording at SF’s own Tiny Telephone. After international radio play and several gigs and beers later, the group returned to Tiny to record the shockingly epic and raw GIANT, WAI’s first EU export, released in 2005 on Poison Free Records (PFX). Repeat radio, gigs and beers. In 2007, WAI returned to the studio to record Three, possibly the band’s most cohesive, balanced mix of polyrhythm, drive, and melody. For We Are Invisible, they’d prefer to just call it rock.
