| About Knitwear Revolution |
We are Knitwear Revolution. A revolutionary rock band based in London. The band's history:
The band came together inspired by a new trend in fashion. Art, fashion and music are all interlinked so here we go. It was a very natural mix for us.
We are a revolutionary band in air rock n' roll and we have already played in some of the most desireable spots in London such as: Barfly, Koko, the Lock Tavern, 93 Feet East, The Vibe Bar, The Mean Fiddler, The Troubadour, Brixton Academy and Hammersmith Apollo.
Suzie Menkes wrote something like a biography for us with her book: Knitwear Revolution: Designer Patterns to Make. We are flattered to get so many mentions and have such an influence globally. I suppose it's safe enough to say we are trendmakers!
The bandmembers are the following 3 hardworking rockers:
Flick! (band leader, drums, lyricist, Manager and Fanzine Editor) and D9 (choreography, percussion, rock violin, backing vocals and Art Director) and finally our latest arrival Thunder who is our new lead guitarist and singer.
