Losers Make Good will return to the stage in the summer of 2009 with a new album in tow. Until then, enjoy the preproduction samples above and be sure check out our new project "LOVE, KINGSFORD" in our top friends!!!
Eleven years on, and Losers Make Good find themselves among the vanguard of the St. Louis scene and standing poised to invade the rest of the heartland, indeed the world. This three piece band is a battle hardened unit who have mastered their trade through sweat and blood, watching as attrition claimed countless worthy compatriots (the wasting sickness that is the decline of the scene has been particularly brutal of late).
Perhaps the survival of this band can be attributed to never staying too long in the same place musically. Non-stop songwriting means that songs can have a quite short lifespan, and consequently the LMG sound has evolved radically over the years fom the pop punk of 2000's NOT PUNK ENOUGH album, to the manic thrash of songs like Distemperment and Slowhand (both from THE $20 SESSIONS, 2003), to the spaced out grind of Suitor and Hatestereo (ALCHEMY DEMOS '04 and THE COMMUNICATION, respectively), all the way up to today's intense, complex post-punk assaults like Unbuttoned, Magazine Diary, Glue Trap Summer, Meathook, and I.O.U.
Career highlights thus far include: opening for prestigious acts such as The Beatings, Kristeen Young, Arlo, and The Deviates; sets at the 2001 X-Trials and the 2006 AMA Motocross World Championships; airplay on KDHX 88.1, KCFV 89.5, KPNT 105.7, KBBM 100.1 and numerous stations online; playing nearly all venues of note in St. Louis, including the Galaxy, the Hi-Pointe, Just Bills's, The Way Out Club, and Verizon Wireless Amphitheater; and rewarding relationships with Ground Contol's Drunk Driving Awareness program, Necropolis Haunted House, Pirate Ink Productions (comics), The Arch Rivals Roller Girls, Alchemy Studios, SmithLee Studios, and the Roadhouse Tunes crew, among others.
Currently, Losers Make Good is seeking a publishing and distribution deal with some tour support. Barring that, they are asking labels to keep them in mind when planning compilations or tributes and when booking their bands in St. Louis.
