To be honest most of our original material has vocals, we like working with vocals, and tend to use them when remixing.
Song With No Word (each EP consisting of 4 Movements) was born from the demand for us to do dubs of our remixes, so we decided to make an EP with no vocals. This was screwed up on Movement 4 so it changed to an EP with no words. In fact, we actually set out to make a kind of anti-club-dub EP, one that that was more of listening piece of music, not really designed for the clubs.
That didn’t work either, we played Movement 1 , 2 and 4 out recently and they sounded great, Movement 3 has also wormed it’s way into the DJ set. Then we realised we don’t really ‘remix’, we just use the vocal and write our own music underneath.
It soon became apparent that we don’t have a clue what’s going on or what we’re talking about, but agreed we’ll continue to think our concepts work and the world is tuning into our cosmic musical messages.

In November 2008, Matthew & Colin began remixing for fun, born from an 8 year friendship and a lack of direction in their lives.
It worked; the first of their remixes (Time Side On) received support from Aeroplane, Pete Tong and Rob Bank on Radio 1. The rest of the year was spent remixing and writing songs.
Having recently remixed Robbie Williams, Ali Love, Fenech-Solar, Bent and The Glamour, they’re currently working on remixes for Detachments and Little Boots whilst trying to finish Song With No Word Volume 2 and 3.
In January they were tipped on BBC Radio 1 as ‘act to watch in 2010’. Their Song For Ellen edit was a ‘big tune’ in January’s edition of Mixmag who also placed their debut compilation ‘Disco Circus’ as the eighth best in 2009!
2010 will also see Mighty Mouse release in Herve’s infamous Cheap Thrills imprint and continue writing songs for an album. Rehearsals for the live band began in December 2009 with Natalie and Ben. Natalie also comes and sings sometimes when they DJ.
