Paul & David Mosley: write the songs. Paul's voice is honeyed and slinky, Dave's is bluesy and gravelly. They harmonise in a special way.
Dave plays the guitar and bass and sings, Paul plays the piano, clarinet, melodica, euphonium and sings.
Colin Smith: plays the guitar, bass, flute, lap steel and most everything else as well as singing and being the studio brains behind the Moses recording sessions.
Gav Fawcett: plays the drums and percussion, holding back his natural talent for playing louder, faster, harder than anybody else in the world to shake his shakey eggs.
Katy Dent: plays the violin and can improvise like nobodies business.
Harriet Davidson: plays the Cello and has the most perfect tone we ever heard.
Sophie Traves: Sings songs with a beautiful voice like no-one else we can think of and makes up harmonies that are beyond the mind of mortal man.

Moses are the indie folk band that could. Their debut single No-ones home was playlisted by BBC radio 2, the parent album The Swimming Zoo was voted into 6musics albums of the year and their legendary live shows (in turn heart stoppingly beautiful, full-on up lifting and vaguely filthy) won them tours with Sam Brown, Shane MacGowan, Martin Stephenson and many more and have seen them winning over crowds from Glastonbury festival to an Amsterdam brothel.
Based around the catchy, beautiful songs (So good I wish Id written them Glasswerks.co.uk - each one sounding like a lost classic Drowned in sound.com) and contrasting but complementary voices of Hartlepool born brothers Paul & David Mosley the band enhance the guitar based songs with fiddle, piano, banjo, flute, accordion, euphonium, clarinetallsorts plus loads of very gorgeous harmonies.
Moses 2 full length albums & various ep's on tiny High Barn records have been described thus; 'a folk mini masterpiece that raids the school music room' (NME) and 'such Beautiful arrangements, quite the musicians' (lovely Canadian genius Jane Siberry) and 'given a sunny summers day this will totally fit the bill ****' (Q magazine) and 'moses...Moses...MOSES!' (Shane MacGowan). They are currently writing 4 new albums (actually true) and gig all the time. For free exclusive songs, latest dates and general fun the website is here: mosesband.com
"Struggles & Lulls", the brand new album from Joan Coffey, is available now on ITunes
'a voice that can enchant. Coffey's vocal chords deliver liquid gold with a divine Irish lilt.' FATEA Records 'charming and honest'. Time Out 'Joan's music exudes a warmth, humility and truth that is rare to find in singer-songwriters these days'. Thea Gilmore
