In 1997, Antoine Bonan, Morgan Vigilante, Alexis Den Doncker and Tommy Onraedt formed their first 'rock band'. All 12 years old at the time, they started composing without really knowing how to play.
After 8 years of gigging around Brussels with various different singers, the band started to take their work more seriously. The took up the vocals themselves, and their hard work was rewarded with the first prize in the Belgian Blast:Beat competition (a tour of Ireland), under the band name 'Morbacks'.
On returning to Belgium the band added the talents of Thomas de Hemptinne, and formed as the band’s present day line up, NESTOR!
In April 2006, the band recorded a 5 tracks demo CD with the technical assistance of friend Cédric Goisse and started distributing it around Belgium. About this time they signed with the Black Dog booking agency.
In January 2008, after meeting Julien Galoy (Montevideo) and sound engineer Julien 'Krust' Rauïs, the band started working on their upcoming debut album, stripping their energetic set down to the bare bones and building it back up again to create an explosive new live show, full of original and unique material.
During summer 2008, they recorded a 4 tracks EP:
'This Is A Party Favor', come out in february 2009 with a 100 specimens rare edition single including 'Geometric', b-sides and remixes (by Jean Montevideo and Mickey)...
The band is now working on their first album,... ready for 2010!
Nestor!’s music is often said to be fast and complex, with the band dedicated to surprising song structures and staccati lyrical rhythms. Their music tells the epic story of dusty knights in rusty armor, galloping to nowhere...

"Twee uur op een vrijdagnacht in Molenbeek. Uw reporter van dienst schuimt de Brusselse straten af en in de verte hoort hij hoekige gitaren en drummende beats. Een verassend Engels geluid. Hij gaat op onderzoek uit en komt in een vervallen hangar terecht waar een decadent bacchanaal aan de gang is […] De formatie Nestor! staat op het podium en ze maken indruk. Powerpop met scherpe randjes uit de jaren tachtig. Denk aan The Buzzcocks en The Undertones. Intelligent gearrangeerde songs, virtuoos gitaargeluid en met passie uitgevoerd. Toegegeven: misschien qua originaliteit niet altijd even vooruitstrevend maar duidelijk nog zoekend naar een eigen sound.
