Doug Oster (bass vocals, guitar, bass) sings in a wide range of voices, from low bass to baritone, in styles from classical to country. He has performed locally with the Pot Luck String Band at the Golden Hill Concert Series, the Sautee-Nacoochee Community Association contra dance, the Strings ’n’ Things Coffee House, the Mountain Music Review, and the Mountain Music and Medicine radio show. His most recent local performances have been with Wing and a Prayer String Band, singing waltzes at the Sautee-Nacoochee Dance.
Larry Schulz (baritone vocals, guitar, bass, mandolin) has been in writing and playing music for the past 40 years. One recent composition is "Garage Sale," which was the first song Buddy Miller recorded on a national label and which was picked up by James "the Bluegrass Storyteller" King in 2005. A scholar of Chinese language, Larry has written a doo-wop tune in Chinese that is part of the quartet’s repertoire.
Britt Dean (tenor vocals, guitar, percussion) has performed in quartets since the age of four, and in choirs since he was eight years old. Mixed in with the choral singing, he sang in a folk trio in the sixties, did summer stock theater in Atlanta, and was in The Band of Desperate Men, an original rock-and-roll band, with Larry Schulz in the late seventies.
Allison Adams (alto vocals, guitar, concertina) began her musical journeys at the piano at age six, eventually moving to guitar and concertina. Since 2003, she has been one-third of Local Honey, a trio that performs “songs we like,” whether it’s jazz standards or Allison’s originals, and features female duet harmony. In past years she has played concertina and sung with the folk duo Bittersweet and with the roots rock band Letters To Mary.

You four are so amazing! I had the best time at the Monkey last night... love the new stuff... you nailed "Do You (Do You)... really, really, really, really wanna...."
Well great brains do think alike! Even if mine is only the size of a walnut. Small brain, big ideas. I was also thinking that Spurs and I should co-write a catese-doo wop song... yes, indeed! Mowmow, ThePip =^..^=
Wow! You all were really smokin' tonight! Two encores at the Monkey! All that dancing was pretty delightful, too. Thanks for a great night! love&peace, C
Why, thanky kindly, folks. It was a touch warm on that stage but we had some fun. Photos to be posted soon. By the way, the band voted, and Clay Spurs is definitely the prettiest one.
I have to agree with Stationary Dave... you guys were wonderful on Saturday! Between your harmonies and the heat, it was right nearly a religious experience. "Jesus I'll never forget....!"
