With infectios vocal melodies and refreshing pop swagger, Parachute are a band to watch. Signed to Mercury / IDJ in 2007, Parachute have spent the last two years touring with such acts as O.A.R., Switchfoot, 3 Doors Down, The Script, Duffy, and Jon McLaughlin. On Oct. 6, the band started a US Tour with Kelly Clarkson that will carry them through the end of the year. New Year's Eve 2008 saw the band perform with the Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift on the NIVEA stage in NYC's Times Square. Their debut album, which had the band working with such producers as John Shanks, John Fields, Dan Wilson and Chris Keup, was released on May 19, 2009. The album shot to 1 on the iTunes album list, 1 on Amazon, and has sold over 75K units to dates. Their hit single "She Is Love" has over 350K downloads, and was featured in a national NIVEA tv campaign in the winter and spring of 2009. The band will hit the ground running in 2010 with a co-headlining tour with Safetysuit in January and will head to Europe with Kelly Clarkson in February and March for their very first international tour.
Hi, your songs are so amazing, it sucks how i can't come to your concert tour with Kelly Clarkson. Please come to Ottawa, Canada or if its too small Toronto or Montreal soon. It will be an amazing time if you do! Btw Winterlove always gets me in the Chrsitmas season mood (the whole church bell ringing atmosphere).
