Meet Ripe, a modern rock band with the ability to combine raw energy, melodic touch and intelligent lyrics and song writing, with a kick ass attitude.The 2008 record ”At the end of time”, proves that Ripe has the ability to stretch from spaced out pink floyd inspired passages to in your face heavy metal riffing.
The record has been a while in the making, both due to the bands constant demand for perfection and because of lead singer Oliver’s participation in the X-factor talent show, but mainly due to their search for a unique sound combining 30 years of rock’n’roll and heavy metal spiced with synth sounds to produce the genuine Ripe Rock’n’Roll feeling Ripe is a band with many years of service.
The members of the band have a long record of various recordings both in and outside the Ripe universe. Concert experience is harvested over the years from numerous concerts as well as participation in a number of competitions such as the Emergenza festival – a festival at which they played in the 2003 final. The members of Ripe has changes over the years, but like any other evolution it is survival of the fittest, and today Ripe appears as a rock solid brotherhood of people dedicated to what they do, and willing to do anything necessary to claim world domination.
