Rosario Records can better described as a community of artists with a common vision. That vision is to be a voice in our culture that represents the personalities of every one of our artists while also maintaining a standard of quality in our music.
So many labels are an impersonal collection of detached artists who seem to only aspire to be recognized individually. We try to bring together artists that have passion for each other's music, often interchanging artists with projects, and blurring the lines between being a record label and being a family. We strive to progress in our thinking and in our art. We try not to remain stagnant in our culture and oppose racism, homophobia and religious hypocrisy. We are also very frustrated with mainstream media. When all of these things come together they depict our aspirations, and while being concerned with major world issues we are still, however, very passionate about the primal, the mundane, and the day to day issues that we face as ordinary people.
Rosario records features mostly artists with an alternative sound, and make an effort not to feature music that sounds like what is mostly being played on the radio stations. We are on the outside of the fodder, but still being influenced.
Our sound is influenced by bands and artists like sonic youth, broken social scene, the rapture, daft punk, the go! team, bright eyes, red house painters, lou barlow and many others.

Three trees, no, four trees stand in my way. One and two are close to my right. The third is not as close and more to my right. The third is centered and not more than 50ft away. The tree is in a converstion with a house. I sit and ease-drop. I then stand and step a few. "Back some more! Back some more!", says the tree with the thickest sap.
The two trees on my right walk away, as I stand closer to the third. I am able to join in the conversation, but I don't. Is something wrong with me? Am I a tree?

As people in the world's wealthier regions lead increasingly sedentary life styles, the need for recreation has grown. The rise of so called active vacations exemplify this.
