erm well we ride bicycles amd are vegan and are girls (apart from max i guess). we wanted to be in a riot grrrl band so we decided to form one. we thought of the name when we were sweating cobs in some hipster bar. We were inspired by xray spex and general riot grrrl noise and also the fantastic Sprockettes, a bicycle loving dance troupe from portland. We do it becasue we want to have fun and believe that music is wonderous and as many arms and legs should be flailed around as possible whilst listening to or performing it. we hope to increase awareness of bicycle realted issues and promote bicycle riding through our bicycle related songs and dance nonsense..we also hope to promote people having fun and letting go and dancing to music, no need to play it cool with us, and also we hope to promote the idea that girls can have fun, no matter what their shape or size or what they look like. we need a girl drummer i think but carly reckons we dont because we have a drum machine but if you'd like to be our drummer please let us know.
