As a youngster, Chris was a member of the highly prestigious Augustinian Boys Choir, regularly performing with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
He went on to become the founder, co-creator and lead vocalist of the Sydney wonder band, The One Hit Wonders. Chris is well known to Australian pub and corporate audiences for his command of the stage and bright orange overalls! Simply, when you booked his band you were guaranteed a party.

After a decade with The One Hit Wonders he left to follow his passion for trading antiques and art. However, the flickering flame inside of Chris never died and his sizzling vocal range of almost four octaves is a feature of the Kings vocal sound.
PAT DRUMMOND - Vocals, Guitar, Spoons
An iconic legend of the Sydney Hotel scene in the 70s and 80s. Arguably, Pat created the first ever crowd surf with his renditions of Astro Boy at Sydney's Rest Hotel, which was the last of the great Resident gigs.
Many current corporate high flyers cut their teeth here and still reminise about Pat's final show at The Rest. It concluded a 10-year residency and proved his legendary status when the crowd spilled over a closed Alfred St in North Sydney.
Since those days Pat has toured the country performing as a Recording Artist, Poet, Troubadour, Songwriter, Performer and has released many successful albums. This has seen him inducted into the Australian Country Music Hands Of Fame in 2003, named Australian Independent Country Music Artist of The Year, 4 x Grand Finalist in the CMAA Golden Guitar Country Music Awards and Winner of the prestigious TSA Songwriting Awards.
Pat brings his unique brand of quirky humour, energetic story telling and musical mastery to The BBQ Kings’ table.
TONY WILLIAMS - Vocals, Keys and Finger Clicks
Tony is as versatile as professional entertainers come. He is classically trained in piano, a fantastic guitarist and a sensational singer; as well as being one half of the musical comedy/mime stage act, Carpe Idiotus.
Together with his Carpe Idiotus team member, mime/comedian Dennis Claire, he has co-written and performed shows such as ‘The Umbrella Man’ (96) ‘Slink’ (97) ‘Gulp’ (2000) and ‘Girls Can’t Run’ which Carpe performed at the Melbourne international comedy festival in 2006. Carpe Idiotus has toured Australia-wide, performed for countless corporate functions and will feature in Channel 7’s 2008 series of Austalia’s Got Talent.
Tony’s songwriting has also seen him represent Australia at the 1996 International Songwriting Awards and he won two categories as best songwriter for his songs ‘Gulp’ and ‘Red Prickle Beard’ in 2006.
The BBQ Kings is a reflection of Tony’s songwriting expertise and comedic brilliance.
The BBQ Kings truly have created their own flavour
of musical performance. Based on a meeting of minds at a BBQ,
their stage show represents a coming together of interactive
comedy, banter, clever song writing, brilliant vocal harmonies
and highly skilled musicianship.
The BBQ Kings are ready to fire up their piano-keyed bbq at your next outdoor or corporate event.
