Formed in September 2001, The Boxes include twin sisters Heather and Amy Sperber (bass and drums), Julie Ehlert (guitar) and Kate Perrotti (vocals). Though only active until late 2004 The Boxes managed to pack a lot of punch into three years. They self-released two four song EPs, toured all over the US and Europe, shared the stage with countless indie rock all-stars and fashioned some of the meanest homemade KISS costumes ever.
This was the most awesome band I was lucky to find by browsing online a few years ago...too bad I never got to see them live, and never got that second CD before they took down their page....but hey, at least I got a shirt and the first cd!
