.......a very simple explaination. This was the idea of Ben, who called Gaz and said " If I could get a dream team together for a covers band, then it would be Me, You, Den and Bilto......
...........after many phone calls between the 4 said members, we finally got chance to get together at Gaz's house, picked roughly 45 songs, made up the compilation cds, took the piss out of each other and progressed to get the basics down.......then, we all when to the rehearsal room and let everything fall into place.........because we all thought ( except for ben ) that we should be called Benny's Dream Team, again we kicked around various band names, some dreadful but some stupidly funny, and came back to The Dream Team, and ended up with The D(ee) T(ee)'s.....
...We are a covers band playing mostly '60 - '70's popular mainstream / commercial and sometimes obscure rock, psychedelia and vintage rhythm and blues plus original 50's rock 'n' roll with some newer artists from the '90's occationally, but no new new stuff, there's plenty of younger bands out there playing that brand of spiky pop that most members of this band can't stand, but we will play weddings, parties, do's, anniversaries, birthdays and afternoon tea dances, but please be prepared as we aim to please the audience with the highest level of pure enjoyment..........at volume
........also please note for those that do not know us personally, we do not take ourselves seriously at all, we just wanna get out there and play music by the artists we love & respect, have a laugh and a good time, so hopefully we'll see you somewhere sometime soon :)
