The Favors were a product of Madison & Fancy's mutual appreciation of 1970s glam rock. (i.e. David Bowie, T.Rex, Lou Reed, Mott the Hoople, ect...)They started writing songs in the summer of '05 and soon had a complete band with Amos Joseph on bass and Dan Rempe on guitar. All togather, they played about a dozen shows around the Lincoln area and recorded nearly twenty original songs. (...none of witch were offically released) In the summer of 2007 Dan Rempe moved to Vermont and the Favors continued as a three piece for awhile until Madison moved to Aurora, NE about a year later.
