The Great Depression is an ever-evolving recording project led by writer/composer, Todd Casper. Originally formed in Madison, Wisconsin, the group is currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark and includes multi-instrumentalists, Thomas Cranley, Jacob Kofler and Arman Fleming.
Signed to the esteemed indy label, Fire Records of London, in 2001, The Great Depression has since released 3 internationally celebrated albums; 'Unconscious Pilot', 'Preaching To The Fire' and 'Forever Altered'.
They also recently released the 'Whatever You're Building EP' on 10" limited edition vinyl (phisteria records). Critics in Copenhagen called it, " Better than drugs or religion..."
They are currently neck deep into their 4th LP. The hope is to have it completed and available by late autumn, 2009.
