TOYAH WILLCOX, BILL RIEFLIN and CHRIS WONG. Rieflin come from the opposite sides of the world to Willcox and Wong, and from radically different musical backgrounds, they are bringing together life times of musical experience. 3 song previews can be heard in the MySpace player on this page.
THE HUMANS live show is song based but the songs are deconstructed down to the bones of raw experience exposing human nature and irony. Comparisons are always misleading but if The White Stripes met with the vocal adventures of Lou Reed, Kate Bush, Gabriel and Beefheart then you might get a flavour of things to come...

My dearet humans, purleeease release these songs internationally tommorrow! It took me half an hour to get the music shop man to console me when we realised these my space snippetts are all I get!!! My ancestors have already been banished to this Toyah free wilderness called Australia! I used to order her RECORDS by post and wait six weeks to recieve them... I love the high contrast electronic patterns and how the montages of footage are collaged together, and move together at times on the same screen,and other times a visual stream and that it works even in a small video window.
Wow, what a fantastic track "We are the Humans" is. Great to hear it in full! It's brilliant. Absolutely exciting. The wonderfully dark keyboards and bass complement Toyah's awesome singing so perfectly. This is a fine piece of music. Lucky Estonians to see The Humans live soon...
