19 KAREN Contemporary Artspace is located at Mermaid Beach, Gold Coast, Australia. Our programs consist of curated exhibitions and programs with focus on early career artists. We strive to establish a curriculum devoted to artists whose works are contemporary, cross-mediumed and experimental, and we encourage collaborations with various artists whose practices are re-defining the way contemporary art is viewed in Australia.

19 Karen Contemporary Artspace is NOW accepting expressions of interest from emerging artists in Australia and Internationally to exhibit at 19 KAREN for the second half of our 2010 program (June-Nov 2010). Group exhibitions and self-curated shows are encouraged. 19 KAREN is open to collaborating on and exhibiting experimental projects and one-night only art events. Please send a specified proposal as per guideline below.

19 KAREN is also available for hire for the fashion launches, lecture talks, artist panels, premiere films, private functions etc.
