The audience are led through strange surrealist scenes by wild mudmen, ethereal feminine spirits and a three faced god with a burning torch. More than music, more than dance, The Impossible are a “true” live totally improvised psychedelic audio visual experience. Applying a hard dance sensibility to a core guitar bass and drums format The Impossible mutate soundscapes and blow minds.
Collaborating on site specific shows with guest vocalists, performance artists, musicians and VJs every show tells a new story. Nothing is impossible. Everything is propelled forward by the vibe of the night. The Impossible improvise psychedelic noise and loops to create an electrifying impulsive audio-physical experience appealing to all who want their dance music live.
Costumed dancers spin strut and collide with musicians and audience building a show in psychedelic waves intended to inspire the listener to set free body mind and spirit.
The Impossible have appeared on the Fish Seeks Bicycle stage somewhere on the North Circular, in Tottenham and Hackney on the Club Neurotica line up, at The Cheese Factory on the Hedfuk Soundsystem stage and more recently on manoeuvres with the Atom/Mutagen psy-trance posse in various venues south of the river.
The show is refined every summer at a disused granite quarry in Britanny, France.
The band are available for everything from one hour gigs to fully scripted and choreographed site specific shows for parties, clubs, events, festivals. They can also produce an experimental downtempo set suitable for chill rooms worldwide.
Recording, mixing, mastering, production and songwriting. Only £20 per hour and even less if you block-book. Really great equipment and experienced staff.
