No one knows exactly how the mess was started. Some people say it started with industrialization, others believe that it got going when TV became popular, and still others believe that it has always been here all along, under the surface of things.
Keith and Gavin seperately began their search for the mess online, and it brought them together-- quickly spreading into their homes, their cars, and even a small room in Escondido. Unable to control the mess, they decided to try to soothe it using unbearable amounts of raw noise and energy.
No match for the mess, Keith and Gavin were swallowed whole, and they remained trapped within the mess until another brave soul could come to their aid.With the right help, they figured they could try to control the mess.
As the mess began to consume Keith and Gavin a faint rumbling noise shot out as a figure appeared seeking out the mess as well. Soon the stranger revealed himself as Jay as he joined his newfound ally to battle the mess until he too was consumed.
Battling the mess became a full time obsession, so Keith, Gavin, and Jay began to tackle the mess growing closer to their homes in Oceanside, California.
If you listen really hard, you might be able to hear them-- stuck in the industrial waste and making large amounts of noise.
Just what exactly is the mess, you may ask? All we know so far is:
The mess is our fears and our excesses. It's everything that is hidden, everything that we try to cover up. The mess is present in our lies and our day-to-day lives. The mess can only be controlled once we realize that it exists. The mess is spreading to every corner of the Earth, and soon no one will be able to escape it.

Can you guys please do me a favor and stop playing at 21+ shows! I'm trying to be a good fan and be there everytime you play but it's kinda hard when you do that. Unless you want to sneak me in like other bands have done for me...not that you should or anything cause thats against the law. I'm just saying it would be nice to be there when you play. Just a request from a loyal and depressed fangirl. Also i think i should get my own tshirt as official #1 fangirl.
