"Munich Mannequins are like having a string of Diamonds fired at you from an ornate Silver Pistol. They are beautiful, intricately formed, and delicate until they blow your chuffing Face off."
Munich Mannequins 2008
Thinking of doing yourself in? Jumping from a Building? Driving your locked Car off a Bridge into a dark Canal? Drinking Bleach through a dirty straw?
Come and see Munich Mannequins at Notting Hill Arts Club for Alan McGees Death Disco on Wednesday August 27th and let us make the decision for you.
We might be able to make it easier for you to live or die.

The Munich Mannequins
Perfection is terrible, it cannot have children.
Cold as snow breath, it tamps the womb
Where the yew trees blow like hydras,
The tree of life and the tree of life
Unloosing their moons, month after month, to no purpose.
The blood flood is the flood of love,
The absolute sacrifice.
It means: no more idols but me,
Me and you.
So, in their sulfur loveliness, in their smiles
These mannequins lean tonight
In Munich, morgue between Paris and Rome,
Naked and bald in their furs,
Orange lollies on silver sticks,
Intolerable, without mind.
The snow drops its pieces of darkness,
Nobody's about. In the hotels
Hands will be opening doors and setting
Down shoes for a polish of carbon
Into which broad toes will go tomorrow.
O the domesticity of these windows,
The baby lace, the green-leaved confectionery,
The thick Germans slumbering in their bottomless Stolz.
And the black phones on hooks
Glittering
Glittering and digesting
Voicelessness. The snow has no voice.

59 Original. I think, not really sure. It sounds sweet anyway. We played a gig at Cab Vol last night: I may have been a little too drunk to play. Nevermind.
Big Bad Love at 93 Feet East July 10th – Tomorrow! Thursday! Doors: 7pm £6.50

Hey! Good to hear from you...were hanging by a tack - shattered - finished the album but sadly lost a drummer...when are you coming up to play? When are you coming up for a drink?
Haha. Thanks for the big-ups on the mic, perhaps you should have been sick on it - it would have stopped Lucky8 playing. I left before they came on due to them already being hammered for their soundcheck, it was obviously going to be a car-crash performance.
Glad we could play with you guys, we enjoyed your set a lot as well.
