Thank you so much to everyone who's already grabbed a copy. Its available from all good stores around the UK, and online, where people from outside of the UK can buy it on import if you don't mind spending a little extra.

Less than 2 weeks to go now until the UK release of our debut album, Cutting Our Teeth! If you applied for a free goody bag via our label, they are on their way to you now! Unfortunately we are not taking any more orders, but we'll hopefully be making this a fairly regular thing so look out for it again soon and be quicker! :P
We can now confirm that the album will also be released through Hassle Records in Germany on February 5th and in Australia on February 12th through Shock Records. As soon as we confirm other release across the world we'll let you know, but remember most online stores will ship overseas so you can purchase the album on import from wherever you live.

What do you want first, the good news or the bad news?
The Good news is we are main support to Thrice on their UK dates this month. In fact it's not just good news, its amazing news! Hopefully you guys can come out and check a show. Tickets are available now and selling fast.
The bad news is we have had to stall the release date of Cutting Our Teeth, again. But this time only by a week! It's now released on February 1st. So so so sorry to everyone who's been waiting for this album since last year, thank you so much for sticking with us, i promise we're not doing it deliberately, these things have generally been out of our control! x

So firstly happy new year everybody! Thank you for an amazing 2009. Hopefully 2010 will be an even bigger year for us. Cutting Our Teeth, our debut full length album is released in 19 days! You can pre-order it from a whole range of sites and be one of the first to own it! Go do it!

Our debut album 'Cutting Our Teeth' is now available to pre-order! Follow the banner at the top to go and grab a copy from hasslerecords.com. Alternatively, it's also available from play.com.
The album is 10 completely brand new tracks, including single 'Look Alive' and our next single 'These Days, I Have Nothing'. Anyone who pre-orders will recieve the CD in the post on the day of release (January 25th).
In the New Year we will be announcing details of the official We Are The Ocean fan club that anyone is welcome to join and on doing so will recieve a bunch of free stuff from us, plus a hand signed letter to say thanks for all your support! We also have a load of new tour dates to announce!

A massive thank you to everyone around the UK who came out to a show on our 3rd headline tour. To see that amount of people still coming out to see us before the release of our debut album really does blow our minds and we can't thank you guys enough. Touring wise, we are done for 2009, but we're still busy preparing the release of our album and the 2nd single from said album. Very shortly the album will be available to pre-order worldwide, along with some very exclusive goodies. And of course we will be out on the road again in late January when thed album drops so look out for some new tour announcements soon!

Hey gang! We're back in the UK now and it feels awesome, i'm actually really enjoying the cold weather. Australia was amazing, thanks to everyone for their support over there. 7 days off now to freshen up and wash our clothes before our headline tour of the UK begins! Do you have your tickets?? Yes? Great! No? You suck! The Amity Affliction and Flood Of Red will be joining us on the bill, 2 incredible bands. Unfortunately Hexes, who were one of the scheduled supports, have had to pull out. The Portsmouth show on our headline tour has been moved to November 27th. So the tour now starts on Nov 18th in Plymouth. Sorry for any inconvenience, all tickets are still valid. We're on tour in Australia at the moment, check our daily blog to find out how it's all going. We'll have a few video updates soon too!

We are now a signed band!! We can finally call ourselvesw professional musicians! :D We're stoked to announce that we have signed to the amazing Hassle Records. We will be releasing our debut album 'Cutting Our Teeth' with them on January 25th 2010.
We're also releasing the first single from the album, 'Look Alive' as a special EP on November 16th. However this will only be available online and on our UK headline tour. We've added a clip of the song on here so take a listen and let us know what you think. Pre-order will begin later today, stay tuned for more info!

We're shooting a video this Saturday (Oct 17th) for our brand new single 'Look Alive' (taken from our forthcoming album, Cutting Our Teeth) We need around 50 people to come along and watch us mime to a recording and make it look awesome. The shoot is in South London between 11am and 6pm. Who's up for it?
All you need to do is email us at look.alive@hotmail.co.uk letting us know your full name. If you have tickets to see us on our headline tour in November/December then include your order reference number in the email as we'll be favouring those of you who have gone out and bought tickets to see us. You guys are the best! You will be informed if you've been chosen by midday tomorrow via the email address that you contacted us on, so make sure you check it regularly as we'll need a reply confirming that you're definitely coming.

So in about 12 days time we're flying out to Australia. We're supporting a band called The Amity Affliction (myspace.com/theamityaffliction - check them out!)
We'll be touring there for 3 weeks and we'll be filling you guys in on everything that we're getting up to and how all the shows are going through a number of ways. Firstly, we'll be posting videos and news updates on this here Myspace! We'll also be giving as many photo updates as we can through the amazing device that is Twitter, so make sure you follow us on there so you don't miss any part of our trip! Day 8 on tour with The Used and Hexes. We're in Birmingham tonight, apparently its the last ever show at the Academy, as they're shutting it down to make way for the new one. So hopefully we can literally tear it down, who's coming? Take note.
All the shows on this tour have been good fun, thanks to everyone who's come out, especially the people we've met who said they just came for us. To buy a ticket for like £15 just to see the support band is incredible, we can't thank you enough.

We just put up a brand new track! It's from our debut album 'Cutting Our Teeth'. Its been so long since we put up any new material so we're stoked that you guys finally get to hear something. The album is coming out in November, we don't have a definite date just yet, but its going to be out for our headline tour! Which we will see you all at! Won't we??! :P

Dan here. I'm currently sitting in our travelodge room in Glasgow on our day off. I'm about to get my hair cut by Alfie, should i be worried... I'll post a picture of it on our Twitter later. We're getting a Nando's tonight, so amped. So this tour has been a good laugh so far, we haven't really toured the UK since the FFAF tour in March so its been nice to be on the road again. Cardiff and Newcastle, you were well behaved, but that's not always a good thing... Thanks for having us though. Glasgow tomorrow is sold out so we're holding out for a big one. I know you all hate us at the moment because we promised a new song up this week and haven't done it. It is coming, honest! And it will blow your mind (not a guarantee) Stay strong wato bears.
UPDATE 13/09/09 Cheers to everyone who came to the Swindon 12 Bar show and Butserfest this weekend. We had a blast! Expecially all the people who queued up for our signing at the Cheer Up Tent, that was insane! We're off on tour with The Used now. Cardiff, Newcastle and Leeds still have some tickets left, the other dates are completely sold out. New song up from our album this week! YES!

Hey! So what does everyone think of the new lay out? It follows the theme of the artwork for our brand new album 'Cutting Our Teeth' which is available from November, just in time for headline tour of the UK which we've just announced. We hope to see as many of you there as our last headline tour back at the start of the year. We'll be chucking on a new song from the album in the next week or so so keep your eyes and ears peeled for that! Anyway, Summer is officially over, i hope none of you are depressed to be back at school / college / uni whatever it is you do with your lives.
