Sounds Like
a trip in a big and confusing park while the sun breaks through.
The Park originates from another
Norwegian band called Typewriter. When Typewriter
decided to split up, some of us wanted to
continue playing music together. On the 16th of March 2005
David and Eivind decided to create a new band.
Together with Dagny Alida and Lars Inge we formed The
Park early summer 2005. We had recordings of 20
songs made by David, Dagny Alida and Eivind in 2004
and 2005 which made the basic of the band.
Autumn the same year Solveig joined our band with her violin.
Our first gig was at a place called "Gamla" in
Oslo march 2006. We played another show at "Dattera
til Hagen" in April. Late summer 2006 Solveig decided
to move back to Glasgow. So now we are back to four
people trying to play pleasant and catchy pop music.
