To the punks we're too indyish and to the indies we're too punk. People aren't music lovers anymore, they're just genre lovers. it's not the music they love but the scene, the image, the clothes, the fake ideology. You stick to your genre, you listen to 50 tunes in a night that are putting across the same message in the same way. I'm sure you'll be happier doing that than if you actually opened your minds and your ears to new messages put to you in new ways. Musically dim yes, but we're doing a better job of coming up with a new sound than most of you fuckers.
