Formed in 1999 in Huntly, Aberdeenshire, at the age of 14. Played constantly for almost 2 years, when we decided to move to Aberdeen. We then built up a good local following. Supported the likes of, Proud Mary, Cosmic Rough Riders, The Paddingtons, Glas Vegas, The Glitteratti. We were offered to support Franz Ferdinand also, but the gig fell through for circumstances out with our control. Gutted! Now we are in Glasgow, and after a headlining show in Rockers, we are looking forward to playing many more gig's here, and all over the UK. Our first EP was released in March 2006 called 'How High'. We had a single released in September 2006 called 'See The Sun'. A new EP will be out this summer, followed by our debut album soon after. Titles and release dates to follow.
The Elvis Suicide finally make their way to Aberdeen. So after a weekend of debauched behaviour at T in the park, one more day wont hurt- so catch us on Mon 14th July The Black tooth Rock Lounge at Snafu.
"Surveying the Young Professionals is Franz Ferdinand on 10 Red Bulls. A sneer at the selfishness of the 9-5ers: "Let Rome burn around us/I’ll just watch my back". If I Don’t Run- the other A side- keeps up the bpms - a blitzkrieg wall of sonic rage overlapped with a love song which begins and ends in two minutes... With names like Chris Devotion, The Rough Monk, McGarvey and The Ladies Choice, this band sound like a gang you’ll want to join. "- Rick Fulton, Daily Record
