I "WAVES" sono un gruppo nato alla fine del 2008 con l'idea di suonare e di
"Farlo alla grande"!
Lo stile dalle forti influenze albioniche è il marchio di fabbrica di questa band che ha deciso di portare avanti il proprio progetto senza passare dal purgatorio delle cover band. I waves suonano pezzi inediti dalle melodie trascinanti e dirette.
Un gruppo di ragazzi che suona con quella passione propria degli uomini che credono nei propri sogni, senza abbandonare le proprie convinzioni artistiche...Consapevoli delle proprie potenzialità,di non essere solo un gruppo come tanti...Non come gli altri!

The Waves rivolgono uno speciale grazie:

a tutti quelli che ci amano o che ci ameranno;
a tutti quelli che ci odiano e che ovviamente ci odieranno;
ad amici, ragazze, conoscenti, simpatizzanti, passanti e venditori di sogni contenuti nei vari white russian e white lady!
a quelli che non ci sono e a quelli che non dovrebbero nemmeno esistere!
a tutti quelli che ci alzano il dito medio e che poi se lo ritroveranno nel posto giusto al momento giusto;
a tutti quelli che apprezzano, sostengono e collaborano con le onde;
a Carmine e agli Hybrida;
alle lucertole e ai vari ceppi infettivi della sala prove;
ai soldi spesi e al tempo perso, alle corde saltate e alle bacchette rotte, al sudore versato e ai nostri capelli;
all'alcohol e ai nostri fegati irrimediabilmente compromessi;
ai folli, ai pervertiti e sognatori come noi;
di nuovo all'alcol, la "soluzione a..." e la"causa di ..." tutti i problemi;
a Sergio (la tua penna li seppellirà tutti);
agli eroi, ai falliti e agli idoli crollati;
alle spillette, foulard, giacche ed adesivi;
ad Ezio con i suoi giri di basso, i suoi testi r'n'r , la sua mania di protagonismo e le sue fuckin' pointy shoes;
a Ivan, ai suoi assoli, alle sue mutande e alla sua chitarra;
a Flavio alla sua pazienza ai suoi piatti e alle sue bacchette;

The “WAVES” is a band born at the end of 2008, determined to play music and do it in a big way. A strongly England influenced style characterizes the band, which is carrying on a well-defined project,excluding to get through the cover band’s purgatory. The band plays inedited songs, built on capturing and immediate melodies. A band of guys who plays with a not conventionally passion ,close to an incurable dreamer’s one, although they stay devoted to their artistic persuasions… They’re conscious of their potentialities, they’re not a group as so many…not like the other ones!
