Sometimes, you can listen to a band and you just know that they've been playing together for years. Everything clicks, their timing is perfect, and the tones just blend. It's almost as if they were meant to write music together. Such is the case with Tom Foolery.
Spawned in Memphis, Tennessee, this pop quartet boasts youth and skill as the driving force behind their movement. Having only been a band since October of 2009, Toom Foolery have already proven themselves as a driving force in the Memphis scene by winning the Won't Look Back Booking Battle of the Bands and the MGM Music Showcase. Their talent and professionalism has given them opportunities to open for a number of label acts, namely We The Kings, The Cab, Hey Monday, Say Anything, The Spill Canvas, and Emarosa, to name a few.
With ages ranging from 19 to 22, these guys are at the precipice of a very promising future. With an incredibly impressive debut EP, which became avaialable on iTunes September 2nd, the band is already putting together a number of new songs. They also just released a cover of Usher's "DJ Got Us Falling in Love", which the band is hoping will give them some new fans on YouTube.
The band plans on touring during the summer of 2011. They've got great songs, an energetic and fun live show, an incredibly solid lineup, and a whole lot of heart. They're making all the right moves and I have no doubt that these guys have a long career ahead of them. It's just a matter of getting someone to give them a shot.
